Nonna Maria’s Neapolitan Lasagna

Nonna Maria’s Neapolitan Lasagna

About this excursion

Hosted by Emanuela - Naples - Shared experience

Join a real Neapolitan cooking class and learn the secrets of a special menu! This was the menu we used to prepare for my father Mario every year for his name day: lasagna - also loved by the last king of the Two Sicilies, Francis II, not coincidentally nicknamed "Lasagna King" - topped with a delicious meat sauce cooked for hours. While the lasagna cooks in the oven, we will make together eggplant rolls stuffed with mozzarella cheese and covered with meat sauce, and cannoli, the iconic Italian pastry dessert. I will guide you step-by-step, revealing family tricks and techniques for creating authentic, tasty dishes full of history.
