excur is a planning aid. It does not sell tours, take payment, or hold a booking on your behalf. Everything here is information to help you decide, and the decision, along with the booking, stays with you.
We are not the seller
Every excursion listed is sold by someone else: a tour operator, a marketplace such as Viator, or the cruise line itself. Your contract is with them, on their terms, and questions about payment, cancellation, refunds, accessibility or what actually happens on the day are theirs to answer. We have no ability to change, cancel or refund a booking.
What the port-day verdicts mean, and do not
The distinctive thing this site does is compare a tour's published duration against the hours your ship is in port, and say whether a departure exists that gets you back before all-aboard. That comparison is only ever as good as the three things it rests on:
- The operator's published schedule, which can change after we read it.
- The tour's stated duration, which is an estimate. Real days run late.
- Your ship's hours in port, which change with weather, tides, port congestion and the captain's judgement.
So "Runs on your port date" means the schedule said so when we last checked. It is not a guarantee that you will be back in time, and it is not advice to cut it fine. Independently booked tours do not hold the ship. If a tour is not sold by your cruise line, nobody is waiting for you, and the consequences of missing the ship are entirely yours. Leave more margin than the arithmetic suggests, and treat anything marked as a tight fit as a warning rather than a challenge.
Where we have no data, we say nothing rather than guess. An absent verdict means we did not check, not that a tour is fine.
Prices
Prices are shown as we last read them, in Canadian dollars, converted to US dollars or euros for display using a daily reference rate. Conversions are an indication only: the seller charges in their own currency and your card issuer sets the rate you actually pay. Always confirm the real price on the seller's own checkout before booking.
Itineraries you enter or we derive
You can enter your own cruise, and where a port publishes its ship schedule we can fill some of it in for you. Anything derived that way is a starting point drawn from partial coverage, never a complete itinerary, and it is shown with that caveat attached. Check it against your own cruise documents, which are the authority.
Availability of the site
This is a small site run without any uptime promise. It may be unavailable, incomplete or out of date at any time.
